Finding the "right" school among the many day, boarding and college choices available, evaluating the effectiveness of your child's current program or accurately identifying your child's academic needs can be a daunting challenge. For over 25 years, under the direction of Suzanne F. Scott, ACADEMIC ADVISORY SERVICE (AAS) has provided professional solutions to these questions with a personal approach. Suzanne's expertise spans all levels of education, from elementary years through graduate school. She is highly qualified to give guidance to students in all aspects of education, from gifted and mainstream through special needs, from public to private day and boarding schools, from college through graduate school. In evaluating each client, she endeavors to identify the best possible match of student and school and insures that clients have the knowledge and confidence to make these critical decisions wisely.

ACADEMIC ADVISORY SERVICE (AAS) addresses all aspects of school-related questions. Consultation typically begins with an extended family interview to accurately identify goals and objectives, student strengths and needs, interests and talents as well as specific concerns. Through analysis of history, records, and past achievement, Suzanne develops her initial impression of the student. She can then suggest how clients can best make use of her expertise. For those clients who may wish to initiate consultation prior to a personal visit, either due to distance, time demands or other circumstances, there is a plan to accommodate their needs.


OFFICE LOCATION
The AAS office is conveniently located in Lafayette Hill, a suburb of Philadelphia, just off Germantown Avenue. It is minutes northwest of Philadelphia and Chestnut Hill, a few miles east of the Norristown exit of the Pennsylvania turnpike and of exit 20 of the Blue Route, 476.
